Clutter (Submit your photos)
Worthing has had no central planning behind its public spaces; consequently, there are well designed spaces (outside the Town Hall, Splash Point) and places which are a mishmash of cod Victoriana, 60s modernism and general clutter (Warwick Street, the Pier plaza).
Worthing has the same jumble of bins, benches and bollards everywhere that every town with pretensions to a Victorian history has. It has flat-topped seafront shelters topped off with fake Edwardian roofing. And in the worst case of street clutter, Montague Street has giant TV screens which have never even been turned on.
